MFI Corporation is a Georgia corporation based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Founded on September 1st, 1988 by L Ken Swenson Jr, MFI was originally an IT services company. Hence, our legal
name is MFI Software Corporation. Originally a Georgia ‘C’ corporation, MFI was changed to a Georgia ‘S’ corporation on
July 19th, 1993.
MFI is short for Multi-Faceted Innovations. This name was chosen to reflect the nature of our operational business
strategy, which calls for for-profit development and marketing of programs, products and services that are truly innovative
and multi-faceted.
Specifically, our focus is directed at funding solutions. MFI programs, products and services serve consumers and
businesses. MFI is not a lender, as we do not fund transactions. We broker transactions by introducing funding resources
(investors) with consumers and businesses.
Our programs, products and services are marketed via a branding strategy, which corresponds to the vertical markets in
which they belong. Our current brands are:
•
American HomeTrust (AHT)
•
American BusinessTrust (ABT)
•
American PropertyTrust (APT)
•
American InvestorTrust (AIT)
In connection with consumers, we offer non-loan programs for residential properties. These are referred to as
transactions, as they do not constitute mortgage loans. The residential programs are marketed under our American
HomeTrust brand. AHT provides a truly innovative service that stops short of competing with lenders. Instead, AHT
expands the marketplace by facilitating otherwise un-doable transactions.
The American BusinessTrust brand encapsulates our commercial funding initiatives. ABT activities include brokering
commercial loans and non-loan programs to the domestic and foreign business communities. Additionally, we introduce
joint venture investors to projects of virtually any type.
American PropertyTrust compliments our branding strategy by benefiting from our vast network of affiliate partners. APT
provides a niche service of referring off-market properties to consumers and businesses. Our confidentiality and off-
market policy adds a layer of attractiveness to the APT business model, by guaranteeing that our database of properties
are not subject to bidding wars, and that public entities can discreetly evaluate the feasibility of a purchase.
Finally, our American InvestorTrust brand ties all MFI initiatives together by harboring a diversified network of cash and
credit based investors. AIT provides a sound methodology for investors to locate and act upon projects, while affording a
comfortable distance from which to evaluate.
The precise implementation of the programs, products and services we offer elevates the understanding of the term
‘broker’. We may be safely categorized as a tier 1 broker, as we are directly identified with the investor network we have
created.
MFI pursues a decentralized operational strategy. Our directive calls for market penetration by capitalizing on the front-
line contacts of affiliate partners, frequently mortgage brokers. Our affiliate program provides a synergistic relationship
benefiting our clients, affiliates and ourselves in countless ways.
